It is the story of a hinge. A hinge is a movable joint on which a door or other part turns. It connects a fixed part, something we cannot change, let's call it the 'reality', with a flexible part, which turns around the fixed part, let's call it our 'mind'.

On one hand, the mind tries to get closed to the reality, on the other hand, it tries to be open, as much and as wide as it can. But it would never escape from the joint. (Uh-Oh! if it would!)

Now here is the real story: There is a hinge that makes a 'MOO' sound when opening the door. Our mind says, wait - this is not a hinge, this sounds like the song of a bull, calling for love. Another mind says: this is a hinge-hinge.

Comment: From a squeeking door (20060218.bisagras.wav - remember Pierre Henry with his "Variations for a Door and a Sigh") to the animal (bull?) calling (or "sighing") for love. Freesound is finally what happens to our ears!
