Introduction
What comes to your mind if you think about 'alchemy'?
- Trying to make gold.
- Did this succeed?
- What did succeed?
Let's say you have a dream and you want to realize it. This does not always succeed. But while trying, you may find surprises, things you never
thought about!
What will we do as musical alchemists? We will enter the musical laboratory of sounds and try to mix musical gold.
If we won't succeed, we might find other mixes that are still worth listening to. And - who knows :-) ...

The Plan
We as musical alchemists need to learn first about the musical chemistry, its elements and materials before mixing them:
-
Collecting: Of what does music consist?
We collect the main ingredients we want to boil (looking into style).
-
Shaping: How is music built?
We prepare the material and put it into the glass tube (looking into form).
-
Heating: How does musical material function?
We put fire under the glass tube (looking into the sound material).
-
Vaporizing: What is fixed and fluid material?
We make the material fluid (looking into atomic grids, releasing sounds).
-
Mixing: When sounds are a good fit?
We shake the glass tube with the fluids (looking into new sound scapes).
-
Pouring Out: Creating a sound trip and sending it away…
We turn the tube and let the result stream out (looking into new musical shapes).
Now let's put fire under the glasses and make some hot mixes that we will present in the end of the course in a little concert.
