  3. Get the Attribution List of Sound Creators according to the sounds you used so far.

Any distribution of the Sound Pages and derivative projects is bound to the original common creative license as inherented from the original Freesound site, requesting attribution to all authors from which work has been taken, being transformed or not. Please read this license (see 1.) first before proceeding with the following instructions.

Access to Sound Page and Overall Use Attribution Lists

Page Indicator (1): Is used to indicate commercial use of the Sound Page. For more information, see section 4.

Page Infobutton (2): Provides access to Attribution lists either on a Sound Page ("session") or on a global level, via a report facility:

      • Attribution list for a Sound Page: You must publish this attribution list any time you distribute work from the Sound Page.

        1. Click the Page Infobutton. A new browser window opens with a report form.

        2. Click the "Get" button from the form bottom line called "Basic Reports". The Sound Page attribution list will be displayed, based on the latest playing actions you performed (called a "session").

        3. Copy the attribution list (sound authors) into the material where you publish your Sound Page work.

      • Attribution list for a Project: You must publish this attribution list any time you distribute work from a set of various Sound Pages.

In order to capture the use of multiple Sound Pages you need to work with "RIP Keys".

      • Attribution list for a Session: In addition to the above options you can display all used sounds and their authors offline for any period of time you define.

        1. Hold the Ctrl-key and click the Page Infobutton. A new browser window opens with a credits display screen.

        2. Click the "Display" button from the bottom of the page. The latest credits will be displayed in a scroll-up view.

        3. Click the "Start Capture" button to start a new offline credits display period.

For more information about using this screen click "Display" right after clicking the "Start Capture" button. The help information will be displayed on the page.

        4. You can later on transfer the defined period of credits into a "RIP Key" using the procedure "To add another report to a Session RIP Key" as described in section "3.3.4 Session RIP Key" in the "RIP (Royalty Inheritance Programm) User Guide".

For more information about using this screen click "Display" right after clicking the "Start Capture" button. The help information will be displayed on the page.

In order to use this feature you need to perform it the first time online to receive the required data from the Freesound Music server.

For more information about assigning RIP Keys and retrieving RIP Keys attribution reports, refer to the RIP User Guide, section 3.3.4, "Session RIP Key".

  4. Make money with the "Sound Pages" accepting the "Waiver for Commercial Use".

Marking Commercial Use of Sound Pages

      1. Indicating commercial use of a Sound Page
